Still in the harbor - water is calm.

Waves pick up at the gulf.

6-8 foot swells in the gulf. A WILD ride!

The Captain advises a dive master.

On the USS Bartholomew. Ruth goes up a gangway.

Ruth rises to the wheel-house.

Beautiful sponges everywhere.

Every surface is covered with life.

On the fore-deck. Forests of these.

Tried to snap a school of fish - got the Barracuda feeding on them.

Next dive on a sunken bridge section. More flat surface covered with life.

Too close for focus, but blue/yellow fish at every turn.

At the anchor line coming up.

Licking wounds and having lunch.

Then exhaustion sinks in!.

I wasn't alone - we all were tired.

Resting before the next dive.

Rinse the gear and head for the bar!

Did I mention the food?
