Why Fingerprint Your Children?  Safety  Peace of Mind Medical History Confidentiality |
Child fingerprinting programs are a proven method of providing security and peace of mind for family members. We, the Springfield Women of Today, feel every parent should be given the chance to have their children printed for their safety and protection. Our task is to give them the opportunity, free of charge, by providing materials and personnel.

Pam's Mother Since the Sangamon County I-Search program was discontinued, the Springfield Women of Today assumed this responsibility with the Kidprint® fingerprinting program. Since that time we have fingerprinted nearly 10,000 children; infants to teens. |

Cory's Dad Working in conjunction with commercial store activities or public events, our free fingerprinting continues to attract many families who are concerned for the safety of their children. We have fingerprinted children from K-Mart and Toys 'R' Us to Dr. Dolittle Day at the Henson Robinson Zoo. Kidprint® has been featured numerous times in the local news media; print as well as radio and TV. |

Utilizing the assistance of volunteers such as members of the Illinois National Guard, Sangamon County Sheriff's deputies and citizen volunteers, Kidprint® creates a fun environment for the whole family. Our commitment to our community is what makes our program so successful. |

The Springfield Women of Today has been successfully fingerprinting children for ten years. The name and logo, Kidprint®, is registered in Illinois. Our non-proffit women's community service group can provide you or your group with helpful advice or the actual materials to fingerprint children in your area.
