Springfield Women of Today

I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you as president for 2008 – 2009. I look forward to all the fun and commitment as the stars shine over our organization as we learn about our members hidden talents.

As you browse our website feel free to visit the different categories and links. Here you can learn about our mission, who we are, and what we are all about. If you live in the Springfield area, we welcome you to become a member of our organization. Our members are dedicated to community service and personal growth through various service projects.

The Women of Today organization is a national organization with over 3,600 members in 16 states nationwide.  If you live outside the Springfield, IL area, I encourage you to visit the United States Women of Today at www.uswt.org to find a chapter in your city and state.

The mission of the United States Women of Today is to provide state and local chapters opportunities in the areas of leadership training, personal growth, community service, and work in partnership with established foundations. A few of our foundations are Parents of Autistic Children, March of Dimes, Breast Cancer Awareness, Leukemia Society, Arthritis Foundation, and Multiple Sclerosis Society.  In addition, local and state chapters focus on community and state foundations or concerns of their choice.
